Chet Tokar

Investment Advisor Representative

Chet Tokar was born & raised in Port Clinton, a small town on the shores of Lake Erie in Ohio where he was taught the value of hard work and the importance of family.  He took those values with him to Walsh University where he graduated with a BA in 1980.  A few years later he returned to college, receiving an MA in communication from Cincinnati Christian Seminary.  In 2015 he was honored to receive the CRPC© & AAMS© designations from the College for Financial Planning.

As a Financial Advisor, he believes it's important to invest his time understanding what his clients and their families are working toward before they invest their money. That means working closely with a family, along with their CPA, attorney, and other professionals, to help them create a financial strategy that fits their needs.  He can also help with a retirement savings strategy so that you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do.

He began his career as a Financial Advisor 1995 and served for several years in Haines City, Florida. Following a desire to serve in the non-Profit sector, he took his skill set to work with churches to raise capital for new building construction and debt reduction.  In 2011, he returned to serving as a full time Financial Advisor in Oviedo, Florida where he has been active in the community serving with the Chamber of Commerce and several charities.

Chet & his wife Cheryl have three grown children and four beautifulgrandchildren.  His hobbies include scuba diving and riding his motorcycle.  He is an active member of the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI), Winter Park Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Valley of Orlando.  He was honored to be named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2013 and Kentucky Colonel in 2015.
